New Phase for Saddle Manufacturer
Posted on Jul 12, 2019We’re pleased to announce that the renovation of our headquarters in Walsall is complete and we have moved into our new facilities.
The building at Northcote Street in Walsall has been our home since the company was established by Frank Baines in 1980, but we had outgrown the space. Following almost a year of planning and reconstruction to the building, we have created a separate goods-in area with new roller shutters, new cutting and preparation rooms; a new workshop providing more natural light and bench space for our saddlers; a larger saddle storeroom; a new showroom plus further office space with additional storage.
Victoria Coleman, director at Frank Baines Saddlery, said: “We’re very excited to have completed the building work as it provides us with much needed additional space and facilities to enable us to cope with the increase in demand for our saddles.”
Despite Brexit, Frank Baines Saddlery is experiencing more interest than ever in the range of hand-made saddles.
She added: “We will organise an official opening in the autumn and will be organising an Open Week for our stockists to show them around the new look HQ.”
