This hand-made Running Martingale is fully adjustable and made from high quality English cowhide with a smooth bridle finish. It is hand-stitched nine to the inch for strength and durability. Fittings and buckles are made from solid stainless steel, they are corrosion and impact resistant and easy to keep clean. The solid brass rings are nickel plated.
A Running Martingale helps riders to control their horses’ head whilst riding. It attaches to the girth, inbetween the horse’s legs. It then splits into two straps where the reins pass through a ring. Running Martingales are very popular amongst the Jumping discipline. They are also useful for training young horses in many disciplines.
